  Looks fancy from the outside. We stopped and had a rest on some seats out the front. One of our group went in to use a toilet and was impressed with the upmarket style of the place.

  Lodge de luxe très chère et patron qui se fout littéralement de notre gueule ---> le patron de cette culture de pomme profite d'avoir le monopole dans ce coin-là du trek. Il possède la seule lodge de Bhratang, et le sentier est littéralement dépourvu d'autre lodge sur les 2h30 de marche avant Bhratang et les 2h de marche après Bhratang. Il en profite pour demander des sommes bien trop élevées aux trekkeurs qui se retrouvent piégés ici par l'heure. Nous sommes arrivés à une heure de l'après-midi assez tardive chez lui, son dortoir était littéralement vide, et pourtant il ne voulait que nous vendre des chambres à 55$ la nuit on a réussi à faire les 2h de marche jusqu'au prochain village avant que la nuit ne tombe, mais ça n'était vraiment pas raisonnable de sa part il a clairement abusé de sa position, c'était limite du racket.

  Very expensive luxurious lodge, and the boss is dangerously trolling us --> the boss of this apple factory takes advantage of its monopoly situation. He owns the only lodge of Bhratang, and the trekking path is litteraly empty of any other lodge 2.5h walk before Bhratang and 2h walk after Bhratang. He therefore ask huge amount of money to trekkers that are trapped by the time in Bhratang We (4 people) arrived quite late in the afternoon in Bhratang, and despite his dormitory being totally empty, he refused to use it and insisted to sell us rooms for 55$ each We finally managed to reach the next village before the nightfall, but it was clearly not reasonable from him he clearly abused of its monopoly, it was almost extorsion, he could have sell us beds in the dormitory at least.

  Place and lodge itself are very nice. Apples are delicious (better buy per kg). Food was not good; apple pie was not fresh and also the rice that was served was from the day before and was re-heated (improperly though, because half of the rice was still cold).
