Ølmåafossen is one of the many waterfalls in the Romsdalen and difficult to miss. It is one of the highest waterfalls in Norway with a total height of more then 700 meter.

The waterfall can easily be seen from the roadside and it not necessary to make a walk.

I think it is also one of the more photogenic waterfalls in the Romsdalen although there are dozens of small waterfalls in the river Rauma where it is very pleasant to picnic. But most of the time these waterfalls/rapids are hidden from the road.
