This brewery housed in a reconstruction of a stave church brings a Norse theme to the beer. Inside, the place is structured like a viking hall with a few small wooden tables and stumps for seats and a massive circular seating area. There is a restaurant upstairs as well. The beer is good, though there aren’t that many selections. It gets very touristy too as it’s a beer destination due to the building. There’s even an attached hotel. On a nice day, the inside is a bit gloomy, so another option is to head next door to the massive cafe that has a nice deck in the sun and serves their beer.

Amazing chickpea burger. It’s not even on the menu anymore, so none of you are going to get it. Sorry! Great wait staff and nice atmosphere, but the music doesn’t really fit. 70’s classics in a viking pub? Can’t pillage to that. Still, the food is enough to give it a maximum star rating.

The beer was good, but the food was whatever. I had the fish stew and it was too sweet. My wife had the shepherds pie and the filling was not bad, but the mashed potatoes and cheese on top was only ok. We did have a salad with beets that was good. We probably should have just stuck to burgers. Anyway, not bad, but not the 5 stars everyone keeps posting. (Although if you are rating restaurants within 50km, then maybe it is 5 stars :) )

We enjoyed a lunch here during our Norway in a Nutshell tour. We got the pulled chicken sandwich and the pork neck sandwich. Both were very delicious. I think we liked the pork neck a bit more, but the pulled chicken was also good. The bread they were served on was phenomenal! We loved the decor as well!

Amazing Viking decor. Delicious food. Selection of self brewed beer. Friendly staff. Not much else to say Don't just go in and take pictures. It is very rude. Stay, drink eat and then take pictures.

Very good place, highly recommended. Food is healthy as well as quite tasty (coming from people who thought Michelin star was wasted on "34" restaurant in Oslo). Choice is a bit limited, but it tastes more than good. Beer is homemade and top quality. Stuff is friendly, our waiter could out-Thor even Chris Hemsworth by the looks of him.

Great beers and very good food. I suggest to have the tasting manu which includes different courses with theirs associated beer.

Way overpriced, but surprisingly good service, atmosphere, and food. Go for the experience and enjoy it.

Best restaurant in Flam (doesn't take much, admittedly). Feels like you're eating in the north Westeros.

Go for the ambiance. Food is decent and it's hard to go wrong with drinks at a brewery but you will be paying a pretty hefty price for the experience. Overall, I'd recommend it if you haven't gone before but it's not a must-see.
