Remarkable spot. Nice view, but many of those in alesund, the food is key. The restaurant specializes in bacalao, a dish made from klippfisk, the dried salted cod from Norway which conquered the world (especially the Caribbean) in the age of sail. They make a humble staple into a variety of uniquely flavorful dishes, each based upon klippfisk, but entirely different experiences. An ex New Yorker, I went with a friend living in Chicago: we both live for food, and neither of us had tasted anything like it. And extremely helpful staff as well they were obviously puzzled when I asked for a doggie bag (Good portion sizes, too good to waste!) not something that they are used to but they nevertheless used the plastic sealer they used for sous vide to individually save the remainder of our food!!! Highly recommended!

A good place to have dinner by yourself or with a group! Helpfull staff and the food is really good! Top that off with a good view ovwr the harbour and you have a good place to have dinner!

The place is well known for their fish soup and cod fish, so we tried them without hesitation, and were very happy with our choices. Staff were courteous and efficient. Booking in advance is recommended as the place is very popular. One down side about the restaurant is noisy, as the place had a full house of dinners when we're there.

Fish Soup is amazing, as are all of the main dishes. Service was perfect, and the view is fabulous. We had the Italian Style Bacalao and the Bacalao Com Natas. Both were superb.

An amazing place for a romantic evening, or a casual visit.
The offers on food is extraordinary, with cuisines made to perfection. My visit was greeted with kind waiters, which cared for my opinion and taste in food. Their recommendations were spot on.
