When driving, this is where you stop to eat! Classic Norwegian and regional cooking. Friendly staff and atmosphere. A staple among people living in Tromsø and the region.

Great and comfortable environment with conference rooms, accommodation and a nice restaurant.

We called in for food and not to stay overnight so I can't comment on the rooms but only on the restaurant which serves some traditional Norwegian food which is comforting and filling. The service was quick and the food was excellent. The environment was clean and nicely decorated.

It was a great experience for a nice lunch while travelling through, and would be a good place to eat if you were staying in the area.

Vollan Gjestestue in Nordkjosbotn is the natural stop to get out of the car kick back and eat great food with a good atmosphere to go with it. Lapskaus or dagens utvalgte usaly is a safe choice and kid friendly dinner. Local Norwegian food is dotted around the meny. And deserts are a tasty roundout to the feast.

We had a small Cabin for a lot of money. It's a little bit expensive. Employees are very kind. Top breakfast!

Went for dinner with our two kids. The menu was great as always, with even a fair selection on the kids menu. Wife had Wild game pasta, which was excellent. I had a Chorizo burger that was above average (if with slightly boring chips). A burger for the oldest kid, and stew for the youngest. Generous portions, and the pricing is what you'd expect in Norway. We ended up paying NOK 560 for all four of us, pretty much on par for good quality restaurants in Norway. We have visited before on several occasions, and will definitely visit again.

It was a funny self-service type of place. The interior was warm and cosy, popular with locals and there was lots on the menu too. I had traditional Norwegian meatballs (bigger than Swedish meatballs) with carrots potatoes and mushy peas loganberry jam and gravy. My partner had burger salad and chips. Avg price for Norway, food was made fresh and service was quick and friendly.
