Vakker natur
Nydelig plass.
I was there during the first weeks in May, and there were really nice weather conditions. The environment in this park is impressive and authentic.
I hike there and was happy to see how wild Norway is only 150km away from Oslo.
The mountains are lower than in the alps but also very demanding because of the rough clima in scandinavia.
If you're looking for wilderness in front of the conurbation of Oslo it is the spot you've to be.
Pretty nice national park in south of Norway. The low mountain range is perfect for doing hiking and enjoying the beautiful landscape of Norway. Before driving into the national park a Manuel toll has to be payed about 60kr. Just follow the well-prepared gravel road till the end. The locals are very friendly and helpful. I recommend to sleep in the Auerdalseter cabine. A lot of marked hiking trails are set in the national park. In the middle of the lake Auerdalsfjorden is a little sand beach. Next city with gas station and groceries is approximately 20 driving minutes away in Nes.
Please note the rules of the national park at the entrance of the park.
