  Got a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Found out that there was a pool and sauna so had relaxed here before I had the highlights of the tour de France in the TV room. Had a nice sleep in a good bed and got impressed by the breakfast table.

  It was very expensive.
  
  The food was bad and not even warm.
  
  Looks like the food was bought at the nearest grocery store and warmed up in the microwave.
  
  The scrambled eggs from the salmon tasted like chlorine, absolutely disgusting.
  
  The cream that was in the cake tasted sour and old.
  
  The heater in our room was not maintained very well and looked dirty.
  
  The shower head was broken and water spilled out on the floor and on the wall/roof.
  
  And most important for the staff at Vågå Hotel, DO NOT STARE INTO US AND STAND RIGHT BEHIND OUR BACKS
  That was a very uncomfortable experience
  
  The reception staff welcomed us and was nice but due to the bad experience this hotel gets a one star from me.

  Loved this place! Went here for Sailplane Wavecamp a couple of years ago!Nice accomodations; great food! Hope to come back, someday!

  First room had a wet rotting smell and the impression from the staff was that this was normal for that room. In addition they where reluctant to let me change room. Only brightspot was a good breakfast.

  Great service and the best Biffsnadder I ever tasted. The breakfast was also very nice. With fresh made eggs and bacon. The room could have needed some freshments though
