  No longer a regular hotel, Ustaoset hotel at Ustaoset provides apartments in various sizes. The restaurant and bar is usually open; otherwise there is a grocery next door. However, the main reason for staying at Ustaoset is near unbeatable; cross country skiing and mountain biking trails starts just beside the hotel, and it is a great base for experiencing Hardangervidda.

  Dette stedet heter ikke Ustaoset hotell mer. Det er lenge siden stedet skiftet navn til det nåværende Ustaoset Resort. Skal man overnatte her, så bør man ta med seg eget sengetøy, samt eget toalettutstyr. Like i nærheten har man også en butikk som er åpen 7 dager i uken, slik at man kan handle der om nødvendig.

  The appartment I rented barely had any lamps.
  They charged additional 500kr for mandatory cleaning of the appartment.
  They charged additional 100kr per person for bed linens.
  They do not offer bed linen for the double bed, only single ones.
  No breakfast.
  The reception is open between 10-14.
  They only accept bankaxept and cash as payment (not visa or mastercard). The closest cashmachine (ATM) is in Geilo (11,4km).
