Amazing experience watching opera singers belt out some tunes - happens every Tuesday and Thursday.

You can bring your own food along and just order some drinks and watch the show.

Great place for a beer or simple drink, with a nice atmosphere and some character. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, real opera singers show up and sing some classics, free of charge, which is really worth a visit.

Quirky little pub. Cider was a bit naff, but the ambience of place makes up for it, split level, multiple bars, it's a bit of dive (in the nicest possible way) but all part of the charm.

Iconic marine-themed bar, with screens showing schools of fish and opera once a month. Drinks are neither fancy nor expensive, and the place is open until 3 if it's open at all. For what it is, it's perfect.

The opera nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays are unique. Free entry, but buy something (or a lot) in the bar, they've got to survive on something.

More than a pub this place is a cultural icon of Oslo which is why they have permission to stay open later than other pubs in this neighbourhood. Cool staff, unique atmosphere, and regular Opera performances.
