My visit to Tynset Hotel was better than expected. They have renovated the hotel since I was here last, and they are currently extending the hotel - building a new block yo house more guests. Unfortunately, I slept in so I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast buffet , but I was happy to spend my time in the hotel room as I could watch the biggest TV ever from my bed. Perfect. :) The view I had was nothing to write home about, but I didn't check in at this hotel to enjoy the view anyway. This hotel has grown to be a very good option for business travelers. Would absolutely recommend! :)

Nice bar area, friendly service, and good standard of rooms. I didn't try the evening meal in the hotel, but the breakfast was superb.

No elevator, strange smell in the room, broken showerhose, noise from street.

Ok rooms and breakfast. Do not appreciate towels placed above the toilet. Unhygienic. And the soap dispenser was out of soap. Had to use shower gel :p

Meget bra. Hotellet har gjennomgått en vesentlig oppgradering de siste to år. Bra oppussede rom, gode senger, bra bad, stor flatskjerm og behagelig recliner. Bra internett (selvsagt gratis) og vennlig og serviceinnstilt betjening.

Really nice interior compared to what you would think from the outside. Soft beds and up to date rooms with a big tv, bar and desk for working. The bathroom was equipped with towels, toilet, soaps and shampoos and a good strong shower. And lets not forget the free wifi.
