Really friendly staff, helped me and my friend out with any query that we had, helped us decide on a tour and gave us loads of useful local information. This is what a tourist centre should be like !!

Great tourist information centre, one can find a lot of info about the local area, as well as leaflets and guide books around things to do in and around Bergen. Can also buy tickets to various tours and trips, with very helpful staff that provided us with a lot of information and recommendations around what we could and should do in the time that we were in Bergen.

Liked the location of the tourist board, situated in front of the harbor, the view was beautiful. The service provided by the friendly staff were good.

We visited Bergen at beginning of September, perhaps nearing end of tourist season, so often not all positions were manned, which frequently resulted in a waiting time of in excess of 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and tried to help but were often uninformed. There was an issue with the bus to Trollhaugen including the lunchtime concert on a couple of occasions..on one, the coach was full (although the concert was not) and on the second a taxi had to be added as it was oversoldand this limited the time there.Today we enquired about a concert tonight, which we found on Visit Bergen website, tickets to be bought at Tourist Information .and had to argue that this was on..but in fact they did not have tickets. Meanwhile the assistant at neighbouring desk was advising a couple to visit the Leprosy museumwhich actually closes at end of August.
We are confirmed Bergen fans and come over most years so this will not put us off.but might annoy new visitorsa bit more training and experience would not go amiss.

I walked in looking for information on a boat tour of the local Fjords I had more luck talking directly to the people who check tickets near the tour boats I would give those people 5 stars.

a good place to go after taking floyen down to the city. we enjoy the heater there to warm us up and learn and then schedule our day according to the advisor of the tourist info.. also can enjoy the harbour view from here if you feel it's too cold/hot outside^^

A lot of relevanttourist information, free wi-fi (although not as good as it was in past years). Very beautiful view in rainy weather because of the glass walls.

The good point the this information center is that they work as a multi service center for the tourist. Besides touristic information, we can buy several different tour tickets and also exchange money. However, be aware to wait in long queues.
