The hike is a 4/5 and after we done it we know why. But the walk is absolutely worth it. We had Komla at Stranddalshytter and it was very delicious. The landscape is magnificent and we just met friendly norwegian tourists. Seems to be a local insider trip.

Absolutely beautiful DNT cabin! During the summer months into September, it is a fully serviced cabin that serves a delicious komle (Norwegian specialty) and a hearty breakfast filled with fresh grains, fruits and a variety of meat. The cabins are nice and separated from the main eating hall cabin, so they stay quiet. Each of them have a wood stove to keep it warm. In the end, this is one of the better DNT cabins I have been to, but expect to pay more for it. Highly recommended!
