Stunning view from 650m above the sea level which is amazing ! Along the bus route to the viewpoint the organized tour gives you audio guide about Norwegian culture and background even stories, which is educational and enjoyable !
What a view! The road itself gives views but the viewing platform is the majestic star of the show. Worth a stop and look. Many many people there during the day. We didn't have too much time but wow, it was fantastic. I found it is open all year, so even in winter, it can be accessed.
Photographers dream! Can be a little tricky drive getting up there, but well worth it. We went in the evening when it was quite quietworth doing as I understand it gets very busy during the day.
Absolutely gorgeous view point! A must visit if you are in Flam! The entire journey is so scenic with winding hair pin bend narrow roads! I took a ton of photos. On the way back, the bus driver stopped at a lower point where you could capture some more beautiful pictures! I took the tourist bus from Flam Info center. The drive is about 30 mins to the view point from Flam. Make sure you go really early to avoid a crowd! Carry food/snacks if you want to eat up there and carry a water bottle too as there is no drinking water available at the top. There is a decent restroom.
Breathtaking views. It's a crazy curvy, hairpin road up. Go early and avoid the buses coming at you, or, just look up and ahead.
Visitor center is a great example of imaginative Nordic architecture. I hope you have a beautiful day. Take a raincoat/windbreaker. The walk at the top is wonderful . Going down the backside is easier driving. And very beautiful in its own right.
Breathtaking view, outside of the season (mid of April) was completely empty, instead of summer when it is full usually.
Wonderful view. But difficult access.
The view was magnificient you can either go during the day or night, for star and northern lighy if u lucky.
One of the best views of Aurlandsfjord from 625 metres (2000 feet) above sea level.
Great view from up here. However the road up to this point is really narrow. You are likely to have to reverse to a wider spot in the road to let drivers from the opposite direction past you.
