This place is starting to be a little bit worn. An upgrade is needed. But the area is beautiful.

Various options for sleeping. All from tent spaces to personal rooms and dormitories. Cheap and good food. All the amenities you need as a traveler. You can drive all the way up there. There is outlets to charge an electric car. Ask in the reception. 10A Shuko plug.

Nice and cozy cabin! Glad to find out there was basic facilites there, as I thought there'd be nothing at all at the site. Great place to camp before heading up to Galdhøpiggen or any other of the Jotunheimen mountains, which is a hard trek. Gonna have to try that again, and I'm glad to know this place is there to be revisited !

We stayed in the camping. it was overcrowded which was expected but we also thought that someone could have invested more money to improve the facilities! There are only 2 showers for the whole camping place (!) and those showers are located just next to the toilets (which are just a huge hole in the ground). As a result, the whole room stinks, which is ok if you are going to the toilets but not if you want to take a shower
In addition, there is only 1 tap of drinkable water for the camping and even that one is located on the other side of the river We found it really strange and uncomfortable to see that there were no drinkable water next to the facilities hut in the camping.

Overall there is a lot that could have been done there in order to improve and we are still not sure why nothing has been done.

I can not recommended this camping site.

We came there after we spent a day outside in a rain and snow showers. We were really happy to have a room there. Also used drying room. We had a dinner and some beer in the restaurant. Pleasure to be there.

Nothing to say against the establishment itself, the rooms and facilities are okay.
But don't expect any help or friendliness from the owners if you need help exceeding what they're offering regularly!
Also, be careful: Even with the website promising a bed on the floor if the rooms are full, they'll happily send you away if there's still a bus going.
