Great food, nice staff, and fair prices. Keep in mind that the restaurant has changed name to Apsorn Thai, but is located in the same venue. There's limited seating, but didn't seem to be a problem with overcrowding.

Good, cheap Thai food. No alcohol license (at least when I was there last). I think they used to serve beer though, so perhaps it's only temporarily.

We are regular customers here for many years and love the delicious kitchen with its authentic dishes and fragrant spices. In our opinion Som Tam was the best Thai in Oslo and higher prices than elsewhere were acceptable. Accordingly to the website the owner changed 01.01.2016 so we went to "visit" the new management. 30 min after placing the order (starter and mains) the waiter/owner came to double check our order. 20 min later the starter arrived, and 10 min later the same starter arrived again. Pointing out that we already received ours, the second one was returned to the kitchen. After asking when the mains would be ready, they came 30 min after the starter. A green veg curry which was red and tasted like a mix of boiled veggies and no spicy flavours arrived together with a massaman curry. The massaman was all meat (tender), but no veggies and not enough sauce to call it a curry. Too hungry to complain we finished our plates, but not much reminded us on the dishes we liked so much in the past.
We wish the management and the kitchen all the best and hope they can change for the better. We however will look for an alternative place in future.

I was surprised to find such a relatively formal Thai restaurant in this side street (they even had linen napkins). Staff was very service minded and the food was delicious. We had Lamb Kapraow and Green Curry. Both were excellent and prices absolutely fair. Will definitively go there again!
