Modern building with a cozy atmosphere. Ideal play to rest after a long hiking place. Has free WiFi and good meals.
Great place to stay after or before a trip into the mountains. The cabin offers both rooms with linen and shower included or basic rooms without linnen and shared showers for hikers on a budget. If you're looking for a place to stay in the mountains that is warm and cozy, but not a 5-star hotel, then this is the place to stay.
There are several popular hiking routes that start from this cabin, including a very beautiful guided route over a glacier, the Fannaråkbreen, to the highest mountain cabin in Norway, the Fannaråkhytta. Another popular route is down to the Utladalen (valley of the Utla), where you can stay at the Skogadalsbøen cabin. Another great option is what I did, to bring a tent and camp at the most beautiful spots along the trails. All the trails are well-marked by the DNT, the Norwegian Trekking Association.
Very nice café. Beautiful smell of the wooden interior.
Good comfort and location
Very nice place. Do not expect hotel this is challet for mountaineers. The place is beautifull in the middle of the raw nature near glacier. Absolutely perfect for people who prefers sporting activities instead of sterile hotels suites.
