You:d be proud of him; tell my grammy and grandpa jesusbtoo k?!!
Whilst travelling around the world last year I spent 8 days in Finnsness (during December 2017) at the Finnsness Hotel in Senja whilst visiting the Aurora Borealis Observatory.
As a first time visitor to Senja, this was one of the most amazing breathtaking places I have ever visited in Norway. Even in the minus degree temperatures the scenery and the views were just magical!!
The hotel was located 10mins from the Aurora Borealis Observatory and for a small town it had everything I needed within a 5min walk from the Hotel, even a shopping mall, supermarket, post office and every other convenience you could think of.
The bonus was seeing the spectacular northern lights for at least 5 nights of my stay in Senja and that was the icing on the cake.
Everyone I met during my travels in Senja were so accommodating and just friendly. The Finnsness Hotel was the perfect location, the staff were lovely, the food was excellent and I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on heading there to see the northern lights.
My entire experiene in Senja and at the Aurora Borealis Observatory were just mind blowing!. And I even did the most amazing Husky tour over a frozen lake with Johnny from Senja Husky Adventures which was just WOWWWW!!!! So so so amazing!!!
If I could give the Hanssen brothers and the Finnsness Hotel 20 stars I certainly would. Ill be back Senja!! xx
Wow! A spectacular part of Norway; we had a couple of days here and could have spent much longer. Polar Park was great, and we spent some time at Tungeneset viewing point. Good hiking, too.
