The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review is that we were in a standard cabin and it was very very basic, but I knew that's what I signed up for. I must say that it was very clean and I knew up front that we needed to rent sheets for our stay. CAN NOT BEAT THE VIEWS! Would recommend and stay again but might splurge on one of the slightly upgraded apartments!

Nice camping place at a great location with wonderful view. Boats to rent. Hot water can be quite cold at peak times, so check the temperature before paying 10NOK shower.

Very friendly staff, amazing location. Mostly hard standing, personally I would prefer a little more grass but the location really is amazing.

This site is in an incredible location. And run by a friendly, relaxed, staff which is just the icing on the cake. Look out for the novel, but very effective, chemical toilet disposal system!

We stopped here to get food along the way. Prices were not to bad and the food was good. Great seating overlooking the lake.

Such a beautiful place ! We have been there with RV back in 2014 just down near the green water with a direct view on the Kjenndalsbreen.

We booked this camping a few days prior to our arrival, we went to this area to do the Ferrata in Loen on August 14th. We were told that they would have a cabin for 2 people with shared bathroom on the campsite. Ok we said. We had been sleeping in cabins and sleeping bags the previous days, so anything would be a luxury.

When we got to Loen, driving we realized that the whole Loen/Stryn area is spectacular and however amazing a photo is, it'll do no justice, for reality is even more magnificient. I would recommend getting to know the fjords like this: in your own car, or if on the water --> kayak. Forget cruises.

We did the ferrata, we definitely recommend it if you're ferratista, because it is the ferrata with best views on the planet: the fjord, the Lovatnet lake and glaciers.

When we finished the ferrata, I called Sande Camping to for our late check-in, incidentally I asked them whether they would have, by any chance, an acommodation with ensuite bathroom. One of the owners told me they actually had an available apartment for 5 people only for that night, and we could negotiate the price. I say ok, we're getting there.

Reaching the camping was a whole range of emotions, each one more amazing than the other, curve after curve. A narrow road, very narrow.

At the campsite Magne, one of the owners, offers us the apartment for about 80-90 euros, he asked us whether we wanted to see (it is normal in Norway to ask you whether you want to see the accommodation before accepting it). We told him that it was not necessary. When we got upstairs and opened the door, we almost cried of emotion, we could not imagine an apartment like that in a campsite. The style, the elegance the views and the 'veranda'.

    Magne was very friendly.

The campsite is in a beautiful setting, on the lakeshore, with own small boats that you can use if you want. There are dozens of waterfalls on each side of the mountains, coming from the glacier zones.

As all campsites in Scandinavia: all excellently prepared for motorhomes and caravans. It is their way of tourism, it is a real paradise.

The only downside is that we stayed only one night. They have a sort of loyalty card so if you stay 7 nights, you get the 8th for free. I can't stop thinking about coming back and staying a whole week. Lots of trekking and activities in the area.

We left the day when it was almost a full moon, after that we saw the pics in their instagram, boyit is not to be missed.

In short, a place that has left deep impression on our hearts.
