  Very nice hiking area with a wide open landscape and big highlands with moderate increase in altitude while hiking. There are nice campground which also have comfortable huts. Short season from mid June to end of August but worth a visit.

  Rondane nasjonalpark is one of the most accessible and at the same time visually attractive national park. As always paths are well marked by DNT and cabins are well stocked and prepared in the summer season. The paths are easy to walk, but this also results in not having the feeling of being in the complete wild since following the paths feels constructed sometimes. Access to the park is very good via Otta (Mysusæter) and Hjerkinn. I definitely recommend hiking during summer in Rondane when you're beginner/intermediate experienced.

  Had an awesome 6 hour hike up one of the mountain paths. Was a blast. Great views, and definitely a place to make you feel very small.

  Great park with plenty of walking space. Walked over 30 miles in this park with all of its space to walk. Hiking is also very enjoyable.
