Tasty, well-prepared Western-style Chinese food Expensive, but so is everywhere else in the Lofoten islands, and Norway generally. The proprietress was very nice, offering us a table by the window and checking regularly on whether we needed more rice or water or anything. The ambience isn't notable, but it's modern and clean, unlike the vast majority of standard Chinese places we've tried in London and New York.
The hot and sour soup was the best we've had in some time, with excellent flavor balance, perfect after the 3 hour sea kayaking tour we had just finished. The fried beef with black pepper sauce and chicken with cashew nuts had the standard complement of assorted peppers, carrots, and onions, but were flavorful and not drowned in goopy sauce, and the veggies were fresh, not frozen The beef was fried a little hard for my wife's taste, but I enjoyed it.
Overall a solid option if you want a break from stockfish in Svolvaer.response / report this review -

I ordered fried rice. It contained frozen vegetables of the cheapest sort, and it was just boiled rice. With frozen vegetables. Needless to say it didn't have any taste. Quite expensive place. On the plus side the service was quick and the view is fairly good.

Had a very delicious beef here! My friends said it's the best Shacha beef in Europe. Of course, nice view and staff as well.

"Fast" Food feeling. Not tasty, no Ambiente and for that expensive. I would not recommend it for a good dinner.
