Good service and lovely ride had a small cafe on board
A must do if you have limited time in Stavanger(SVG) and want to do the Pulpit Rock hike. I took the 'Pulpit Rock Cruise & Hike' so I got to see the some beautiful caves, waterfalls, saw Pulpit rock from below and then got dropped off at a point where a bus will take you to the Pulpit Rock trekking/hiking spot. After the trek the bus drops you off at the port of Tau and you have to buy a ferry ticket (55 NOK) to get back to SVG. Totally worth it.
I suggest you stand in the queue pretty early to get a good seat in the cruise! You can walk out and go on the deck as well. Food items on the cruise are $$$! Nothing for vegetarians! So carry your own food.
Good cruise service with good timings.
Its worth the money.
A good way to see the fjords in just one day
An outstanding tour through the fjords adjacent to Stavanger. Smooth and fast ride, facilities neat and clean. Brought us up to the base of the fjord walls and under cascading water fall for an up close and personal encounter with the beauty of nature! Would highly recommend this operator to all!
Nice scenic view of fjord in a clean day..
Good quality of the service for the money you pay.
I would not recommend this cruise. The boat we had was not suited for site seeing. Some were able to sit on the top deck- I assume that was ok. The rest of us had to sit in the main cabin which wasn't very suitable for sightseeing, photos or breathing (the cabin was filled with diesel fumes). The weird configuration of the front bow allowed room for only 4 people out there.
We took the shortest fjord boatrip which was busy with cruise passengers, who we ended up waiting for. The boat trip was good and took us to the main sights along the fjord ending in a waterfall. Nice trip and was great to stand on deck to cool down in the heatwave we had whilst we were there.
The price seems exaggerated, but the overall experience is quite interesting if you've never navigated in the fjords. Comfortable ride, nice outside area to admire the view. The windows inside are really big, so if it's cold you'll be able to see most of the view from the inside.
