Good place to visit, and by the way give yourself a good hike. It seems to have been a major hydroelectric power plant (perhaps the most important in Europe at the time of World War II. The Nazis dominated it for a while). I have no photos for now.

If it wasn't for a temporary exhibition about communism/socialism that managed to not mention a thing about the horrors under communist rule in almost every country ever touched by said ideology But hopefully this is just a temporary thing, because the rest of the museum was awesome.

This is the site of the manufacturing of "heavy water" by the Germans during WW II. A quite remote site. It is well worthwhile to have a guide as there is much to the history. In fact, at least one movie "The Heroes of Telemark" was made regarding the events surrounding this area and subject

Nice museum with a diversity in experiences and historic facts. Impressive machine hall well preserved, architecturally interesting. Very interesting to learn about its history and importance in WW2.
