A great museum with short movies, a great giftshop and skilled guides. Located in the same place as the vikings had their mainfarm makes it very interesting. Worth a visit. (as of october, 2017, there is some excarvations of a chuch from the middleages in the parkinglot.)

Very good! Modern museum og beautiful scenery, and very interesting place for viking enthusiasts. Minus one star for confusing signs at the entry, hard to find the right place to go.

Interesting but the English audio guide could have covered more of the information that was on the Norwegian boards. The Kultursti (Culture Trail) was good though beware fallen down sign posts.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very interesting museum where you get a good insight in Norwegian viking history. Nice videos and a lot of thinks to experience and try. Plus you got a coffee for free. :-)
