The the last leg of my solo travel, I visited Oslo for a couple of hours. I so badly wanted to eat Indian veg food and was so glad to have found this place. It was cozy and not crowded. Old hindi instrumental music was playing in the background and I couldn't help but hum along! The ambiance was good. The food was hot and tasty and in good quantity for a person! There was a clean restroom. Out door seating is available .
We were a group of 4 visiting this restaurant for Indian food. We waited for more than 15 minutes for the table, when we got one, we ordered 2 curry dishes and a dal makhni with breads. The waiter,in an annoying manner asked us to order more portions, else vacate the table, since he had more bigger orders waiting for tables.
We called for the manager, who didn't come and get the rude and disrespectful waiter replaced. We left the restaurant and moved on.
We'd suggest keeping away from such indecent places, if they can't give respect to people coming from the same country, they aren't capable of respecting others!
Good food for an run of the mill indian restaurant and very friendly staff. The owner of the joint was personally involved in ensuring we get everything we need and it wasn't just us getting the exclusive treatment. If you like indian food and want a mid-priced option, this is the place to go.
My samosa was a bit disappointing but besides that, this place had some of the best curries and naan I've had in a while. Just superbly delicious.
Excellent food choice taste as you would expect and great service from the friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who like spices.
Good Indian food at a reasonable price. Ambience is quite nice, although the sitting arrangements could be a bit more spacious
I liked it a lot. Wished they would be a bit more organised with the food on the table. Very crowded table when all the food arrives
Excellent food, every time. More than enough food to fill you up! "Local" Indians come here a lot, so you know this is the real deal.
Nice food.really nice ambiance. A little under staffed. Not so good for vegitarian.
Very good Indian food. The vegan/lactose-free options, however, were essentially non existent. Despite a good list of vegetarian options, the only curry that could be made within milk products was the Chana Masala. Even the rice could not be made without butter. The staff also not very friendly or receptive to my request.
