One of the most scenic train stations I have ever seen! When you are travelling from Bergen to Flåm , you need to switch trains at this station! This station is located at 863.6 meters (2,833 ft) above sea level. One of the best short train rides and you will get to see beautiful valleys, waterfalls and more. From Myrdal, its about 20 kms to Flåm. Sit on the left side for some breathtaking views!

Cute little station. We changed our trains here. Came from Oslo and took one to the flam valley from here.

Stunning surrounding with snow capped mountains and low clouds! The station is around 850m high and is the gateway for the beautiful Flåm Railway!

Departure of the scenic Flambanen train to Flam (20 km). Stop at Kjosfossen waterfall after 4.4 km (you have time to take pictures).
Better view on the train, when you are on the left side.
Travel time is 65 minutes downhill, and 80 minutes uphill.

You could take a scenic train ride to flam (sit on the left side) or you could take a hike down

Or the best way down: bike down the amazing 21 hairpin rail construction road!

Although it's mainly down hill riding, Biking down does require a fair bit of technical handling (loose gravel/rocks, steep slopes hairpins and beautiful scenery to distract you!), so do be careful!

Probably best bike route I'd taken so far!
