Very cozy place, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are bigger and much better equipped than for example Gjendeheim Turisthytte. Nicely remote location and the starting point for a number of intermediate and difficult hiking tours.

More a hotel than a hut and thus not an ideal place for hikers. Very costly compared to a DNT hut.

Great site, after you walk besseggen and grab å beer or stay here. So many hikes you can do from here.

Ikke spesielt hyggelig personale, og elendig middag sammenlignet med andre hytter. Posesuppe, posegrønnsaker, lite smakfullt og ikke tiltalende.
Da jeg var der satt kokka sammen med oss, og hun hadde med seg en stor boks med Aromat! som hun strødde over maten sin. Det sier vel alt
De har lagt middag og frokost inn i prisen når du leier rom. Ellers hadde de sikkert ikke solgt så mange middager..
Ikke verdt prisen, spis heller ei pakke Real turmat! Eller rett og slett dra på Gjendesheim eller Gjendebu i stedet. Der får du fantastisk god mat av friske og lokale råvarer. De to stedene kan jeg virkelig anbefale.

Nice place with very good food.
The shower had only cold water when I was there, but certainly (I hope) not common there.
A little stiff prices, but the great advantage that they had a great "program" for making a packed lunch when we ate breakfast.
Good place to start your trip on Besseggen/ Or resting place when you have been on Besseggen (like me) and then walk the waterline back to Gjendesheim

Very friendly staff :-)
