  Upon arrival a totally different cabin was assigned to the one reserved several months ahead of time. Cabin had mould/mildew on the windows and in the corners of the bathroom, there were cigarette holes and blood on the dirty couch/pillow, bedroom sheets had some black glue residue on them at places, washing up sponge seen better days. It was very depressing and of a substandard quality all round, untouched for decades with an extortionate price tag per night. Their reception smelled of cigarettes, service was very silent and akward as too busy looking at their phone or computer screens doing other stuff. Neither to say we had a last minute look around on airbnb and vacated the place immediately. On the plus side, cutlery and crockery was very clean.

  This hostel has a splendid location in the centre of Kabelvåg. The rooms are small, but clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom and WC was clean and had good capacity. It was some noise from the other rooms. It’s free parking in front of the hostel. I recommend this hostel as a budget hostel in Lofoten.
