One of the most beautiful spots in southern Norway. The peace on this place is incredible. Best season to go here is late summer - thats off-season and nearly nobody will be there :) Very peaceful atmosphere! :) Definitely worth it! They people that work there are also extremely kind!

Nice landmark, definitely to be visited if you are in the area. This is the Southernmost lighthouse in whole Norway, it is in really good conditions and still operating (although lighthouses are of less use nowadays with GPS and detailed seabed maps). It can be visited from the top! The site has also art exhibitions, do not know if on permanent or temporary basis, but it is definitely worth a visit. A small cafe offers a selection of locally made refreshments and a souvenirs shop closes the tour. The visit to the site is not free, but a small entrance fee needs to be paid, and covers also for parking.
Great exposed part of the rocky coastline. Excellent shop, cafe and museum. Interesting second world war gun emplacements and tunnels. Worth the drive.
Beautiful place. You can watch movies about norway's coast and sea history in the cinema. Nice staff and good prices. Coffee and lemonade is included with the ticket.
AMAZING! Really amazing!!
It is not that difficult to get there. But it is a bit tricky thanks to the rural area.
Once we got there I fell in love with the sight!
I truly recommend to go there!
The sight and atmosphere is beautiful!
The first part is free, but if you want to go to the most beautiful area you have to pay a small price. You will get a cup of coffee or tea for free.
Once up there you will know what I mean! And you will love it there!
I do recommend to take some food with you! Cause you cannot buy there a lot of food or drinks!
lovely place, remember to bring warm clothing
Great place with beatiful view. Be prepared for the sunset pictures.
Great place you must have seen. Most south light house and perhaps also place of Norway.
I can't say enough how beautiful this place is and it's got a rich history and it looks so modern and yet old at the same time. I just loved it there

It's the most southern point of Norway and definitely worth driving 35 km off main E39 road. Not the best road (1-1/2 lane), but it will get you there. On your way there you will pass some small fishing settlement/s which are also worth the stop and taking pictures. Up on arrival I realized that access to Lighthouse was closed as they are closing at 17:00 so definitely check opening times before thinking of visiting. This did not stop me enjoying this place as Norway has beautiful and unforgiving nature. Experienced rough wind and rain that day but I think it just added the flavor to the place. Recommended for all nature and lighthouse lovers .
