Decent cinema. Pros: good sound, 3d viewing and comfy seats.
Cons: Need to buy 3d glasses, lack of seats in lobby and no cupholders on seats.
All good, but closed when I was around so no experience
This movie theater is pretty bad. Avoid it if you can. Bad ventilation. Uncomfortable seats. The sound is overrated. Sadly they view new flicks comes to this place first and a week later they'll be transferred to moa kino.
Nice, "old-style" premises, yet new and modern ticket booth and kiosk. Large movie theater with lots of seating, but, and this is a little sad No Cupholders :(
But the bathrooms are the finest bathrooms I've ever seen in a public space.
9/10 would Løvenvold again.
Art nouveau architecture and beautiful paintings inside, my favorite cinema in Ålesund.
It is cozy, but only the one room so possibilities are limited.
Movie theater in an old theater? The conversion adds a ton of flavor to the movie experience!
Decent theater with American movies in English with Norwegian subtitles. Staff is helpful and speaks English as well. Also has the classic snacks for all movie goers: popcorn, sodas, and candy (Norwegian versions of course).
The two movie theaters in Aalesund was transferred to new owners some years back. They have done major improvements to both, and I am very happy with what they have done. The only thing I have to say about this one, is that the seats may need replacement, and that the screen may feel a bit small at times. They offer a membership that grants you free tickets/menus and price reductions after x amount spent on tickets or snacks, which is something I have used many times. Big pluss! The other movie theater near Moa has the same owners, and gives a somewhat better experience in my opinion, but both are good alternatives.
