The room was nice. Shower. Work out room was good. Did not get to try the Spa. The conference room was good. Excellent choices of tea. The fruit with the conference rooms could have been better. The lunch and breakfast was good but could have been a little better. No fried eggs. Pancakes had some hard edges.

Pleasant staff, rooms were fine. Quite disappointing that the restaurant wasn't open. My impression was that it wouldn't be open for the entire summer season. In addition to the hotel rooms, there are people living in apartments on the resort. This resort has a great spa, and a complete 18 hole golf course, as well as a beach club down by the sea.

Great place with beautiful view on the sea. One of the best places I have visited just to chill and eat great food. Highly recommended.

Wonderful view of the small town, Kragerø. Our room had a nice interior design. The spa/bath is relatively small, but cousey. Dinner here is outstanding in my opinion. I can only recommend it.

The food was too fancy, and allergies, though reported, wasn't respected, leading to a potentially lethal situation.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are great

The spa services are waaaay to expensive

I've never been inclined to write a negative review on these sites as I believe most places can have their off days, but I was very disappointed with the service at Kragero resort.

I recently visited for a wedding; upon arrival I was asked to leave my card details - and my pin number - at reception. I was assured I would not be charged. Unusual, I thought, but they insisted it was quite normal. When checking out, a family member kindly picked up our room bill - I was assured, again, that no money would be taken from my account. 11 days since I checked in, and the money has been taken from my account and despite numerous attempts to contact, I have not been offered an adequate response, or any assistance - and I'm missing a very substantial sum of money. They weren't that slow to take the money from the paying account, let me assure you. As a member of a very large wedding party - who spent a lot of money at the hotel, I think simple assistance with the matter would be the most basic courtesy.

I also received most unusual treatment by some (not all) members of staff - I was rather embarassingly snapped at at Breakfast (along with a 12 year old family member - hardly looking like a pair of breakfast thieves!), in order to 'check my room number to make sure I was a guest'. No one else was treated in this manner. It was very indiscreet - quite embarrassing. I was also barked at beforehand when trying to take the child to the swimming pool, which, apparently, is not open to children before 9am. How was I to know?
