The best food in Norway! It's a creative fusion cuisine, not French. The waiter was very attentive and empathetic, he knew exactly what we would like and we were more than happy with the food. Location, ambience and the cuisine are perfect. Will be back again and again!

We went to Klosteret to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our newly-wed friends, I can't imagine any other place we would want to be - cozy, romantic, homey and serene. The food is delicious and the whole setup of the restaurant - the candles, the walls of old bricks and the music. The service was fantastic too.

Excellent wine pairings with the meal. Dark, candle-lit atmosphere is very quiet and calm with occasional Gregorian chants coming from somewhere. Food is a lot of salt and pepper on great cuts of meat (tuna tartare, veal), so nothing I've never seen before but the execution is top-notch. The dessert (berry sorbet and white chocolate cake) blew me away. Server was kind, spoke good English, and knew exactly how full my water was/how far through my dish I was at all times. It's rare that I feel something this pricey is as great of a value as I did here.

Klosteret has amazing food at a not to high prices. The waiters are excellent in both service and skills. The wine chart is to die for. If you want great food at a very good price, the quality concidered - go to this place!
