We found this place on our last day in Bergen but wish we’d known about it since day one. My cortado was the best coffee I’ve had while in Norway; the espresso was nice and milk was to the right temperature. We both ordered the hummus sandwich but wound up being out of them, so they made us really tasty salads instead which was super nice of them. With that being said, the staff were friendly and accommodating; didn’t hurt that they had Tom Waits playing the whole time! If we were staying longer we’d definitely be making more stops here.
Nice and cosy, fresh and delicious food, friendly staff, I totally recommend. :)
Best coffee close in to Bryggen, and the wharf. Usually a bit of a line but that is because they take a lot of care making drinks. Better good than rushed!
Good service, great selection of coffee, and a small selection of food. The trout skiver was delicious and fresh. While the coffee wasn't as good as we expected, we still enjoyed it and would return
Coffee wasn't bad put there is quite a lot of hype around this place so I expected better. The staff was friendly. Sadly you feel like they can't manage to keep up the cleaning with the people getting in and out the place though
Good scones. However nothing special. Hot chocolate could be better
An ordinary coffee shop, owned by and funding the local church.
According to coffee lovers (I am definitely NOT one of them — I just need the caffeine), this is The Only Coffee Shop in town.
Who cares, anyway..? :~/
Great coffee done right. The Cortado was wonderful.
Great place for coffee lovers! No flat White on the menu but the Columbian blend in a latte was great. Try the special filter Hario V 60 and watch the barista at his craft. Worth the visit.
Solid coffee, simple menu, simple atmosphere. Maybe 20 seats but wasn't full despite being close to the fish market. Good for a stop, though not sure I would go out of my way to go there.
