Disappointing. We ordered lamb and fish & chips for main course, creme catalana and Belgian waffle with ice cream for dessert. Main dishes were okay but nothing special. Desserts were a tragedy. Creme catalana was overpowered with cinnamon taste, Belgian waffle was surely not prepared at the restaurant (looked exactly like those you can buy in regular supermarkets in Norway) and the whole plate was bathing in maple syrup. With a glass of wine and a bear we paid 1100kr. Absolutely not worth the price.
On the plus side: the place is cosy, nicely decorated. Restaurant has great location. Server was nice and professional although she didn't speak Norwegian. Food was served on nice plates and decorated. Portions were very big.
Anti-kid place, and therefore anti-human. Went to LYST and they were full, and they said this place had tables. We went there and the owner took one look at our group, which had 3 kids, and he insisted that his computer was wrong and they had no room, despite his restaurant being obviously empty.
Posing as a top tier restaurant, but the food doesn't make the cut.
The staff is very helpful and service minded and the decor is very nice and cozy.
Too bad the food doesn't follow suit.
Great atmosphere and great waiters
Excellent food and service, reservation recommended
It was nice but the waiters were not communicating well enough, they couldnt explain us the ingridients and also what else to eat in there, they didnt recommend us about anything.. Food was ok, not the best i've eaten in norway
Good tapas, but the beer prices here are ridiculous compared to nearby places with better selections.
Fish and meat was cooked really well. Menu is of course on the expensive end. Drinks were very well made as well!
