Lots of info about Jostendalsbreen, but not any part of the icefields is visible from there. And even detailed info about the best \ most convenient access points for the Jostendalsbreen is not easy to get

Good overview of the geology of the mountains around and also the history of the glacier and the people living next to it

Nice little museum, worth a quick stop. Some food and touristic merchandise is available. Collection of stuffed local animals could be of interest.

Here i can definetly advice (when you are in a good physical condition) to hike up to kattanakken and climb down to the glacier on the other side - totally worth it :)

Wild camped here over night. Very picturesque during sunset. Shame we left prior to the café or information centre opening.

Like most natur- or nasjonalparksenters in Norway well thought out with nice static and great video displays. With basic cafeteria.
