Worst airport ever! We just wanted to take our hand lugages into the plane. We checked that we had no bottle that exceed 100 ml and a maximum of 1 litre. Everything was in a transparent plastic. We had come 3 days earlier from Bergen and had no problem. In evenes, the security lady told us that everything must be included in 1 tiny plastic bag that she handed us (even though we respected what was forseen in terms of quantity). So the rules of security in Evenes for an intern flight in Norway are stricter than in any international airport (even New York !!!). Well, let's say that a security guard finally catched something.a dangerous belt !😉 First time and last time in this airport for me. We noticed that there are closer airports for foreign visitors wishing to visit the Lofoten !

Very little airport, with just one big hall for everything, from check-ins to toilets and cafeteria. Unfortunately to access the cafeteria you must go past the security checks. It has bus connections to the mainland and to the Lofoten Islands.
If you stay overnight, no one will disturb you.

Nice and tidy, but 40 minutes for going through the control, on what looked like a normal day - is waaay to much. The Pizza Hut Reindeer Pizza was .. boooring! Why not serve some real local food instead of the junk?
