  It looks nice from the outside, the lobbynot as nice but I have a feeling it's "work in progress" in this hotel. The loungeroom and restaurant looked fresh and modern, our bedroom was nice as well, situated in the little "tower" of the hotel. A little noisy as this room was on the roadside (a plus was that we had a nice view over the lovely wooden buildings of which you will find lots of in Egersund) Most important was ofcourse that it was all clean.
  Staff were all ever so helpfull. Another member of our party had a single room. She was not happy with this room as there was a vent in the ceiling which made a rather loud buzzing sound. She was given another room without any hassle.
  In the restaurant a set 3 course dinner is served at a cost of NOK 495, as a hotel guest you get NOK 100 discount. The menu changes daily.

  Really nice hotel with a good breakfast. Make sure you get to stay in the newly built part otherwise it's 80's conference hotel feeling. The smell in Ranka is really bad due to the fish oil factory.

  Fine rom. Litt løs elektronikk på badet. Grei frokost. Litt små glass. Veldig hjelpsomme ansatte.
