I call it "modern rustic". You get the rustic cabin experience, complete with grass roof, but with modern conveniences: indoor shower, electricity, sauna, well equipped kitchen with coffee maker and dishwasher They provide meal service but you pay extra for it and they didn't always have the kind of wine we wanted. By Norwegian hotel standards the breakfast was a bit sparse and didn't offer fresh fruit but by American standards was almost lavish. The one problem we had was finding it. We made a few wrong turns and showed up quite late but they kept the kitchen open for us (it normally closes at 8 pm). Gorgeous views!!!

Sjarmerende fjellstue på Vaset i Valdres. Vi hadde bryllupet vårt der og vi hadde en drømme dag med flott personale som vet hva folk ønsker seg.

Koselige Gomobu fjellstue. Fin beliggenhet, standarden er bra, maten er nydelig og folkene som jobber der er veldig hyggelige.
