Good with children. Good pool with tube, separate spa with pool, good restaurant occasionally serving smorgasbord style. Good duplex rooms with kitchenette. Bowling. Good size soft play albeit needs some sprucing up.

A fine example of a family resort. Lots of very friendly blue and green runs, with the odd challenging red dotted around.

If you are looking for a good mix, look no further. The downsides are in its Apres ski, being very restricted and limiting with only one or two places to eat at, and the prices are rather steep at what is £4 for a small bottle of Pepsi or £6 for some chips.

Good resort, just expensive!

Family ski resort with half empty pistes and super helpful locals - perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders with a great variety of runs. Beautiful but not cheap !!

Geilo is a beautiful resort and has very good slopes for beginners and intermediate level skiers and snow boarders. The chalets are very close to the bottom of the slopes where the chair lifts are, and there is a free ski bus that runs to take you to the other side of the valley for more challenging slopes for intermediate levels.
