  Beautiful views and close to the restaurants in town.
  The staff are friendly and have great English. The rooms are clean and have all you need. No fridge in room, but otherwise excellent.

  Very hospitable? Good place to stay, beds very comfortable. Plenty to choose of for breakfast. Especially the reception staff were very helpful. Enjoyed staying there.

  No elevator. No fridge. Tour style Hôtel dinner (flavorless food). Clean room. Paid an extra 200 krone for a view. (The room we were given was next to the train tracks overlooking the bus parking lot).

  Update: To be fair, i will actually bump the rating by one star, solely because of the staff. they are really nice and extremely helpful.
  
  I might have been newly renovated, but it does not seem to be kept in a working order.
  It might be that week 6 is not the high season, but week 7 is.
  It might also be that my 4 year old and I just got that single room where everything is just broken:
  - Toilet is running constantly.
  - No shower curtains, everything is wet.
  - The radiator have not been vented for years and sounds like a running tanb in a bucket of water.
  - several lights are not working.
  - Etc.
  It all adds up to bad maintains!
  Sorry but this is just above acceptable.

  A hotel on average pretty nice rooms that seems to renovated lately. As in most other places, if you look a little deeper you find the faults.
  Breakfast was bread, eggs, oats and even porridge and there was plenty eventhough I was there pretty late.
  As many other hotels in Norway it was possible to bake your own waffles. I think the selection of cold cuts was small, the norwegian specialty brown cheese was missing.
