I mean this is a must see in Halden. When the weather is good, it's a wonderful view from the Fortress. You see Norway and Sweden :)

Lovely place. Well taken care off. There was a search for children throughout the ruins. The place offered wonderful views.

Unique site to visit! Historical site, topped with an amazing view. 2-3 hours tour, and one of the most pleasent atmosphere.Watch out for the windy days though!

This castle is a very good option for a sunday walk with friends or parents, stunning view on the fiords and amazing nature to enjoy around. From the city of Halden you can take a shortcut walking from the harbour instead of driving around the mountain.

What a great place, full of history with no H&S to restrict your movement over the walls. Everywhere has information boards in Norwegian and English. Wonderful coffee shop (reasonably priced) to refresh yourself half way round. Great day out.
