Great location, comfortable rooms, kitchen was stocked and nice. Had a roo. To myself because of it being off peak season, though I can imagine they might get cramped if they were filled up.

Clean, lots of room in the kitchen and common room. Friendly service on check in and walking distance to grocery store and flam rail station. Table and bench in shared rooms allow for bags and belongings to not have to be on the floor.

A great place to stay in Flam. Much better alternative than a hotel since you'll meet so many different people from so many different countries and interesting stories and travel experiences to share. Tip - you need to be quick when you're taking a shower, you get exactly 6 minutes before the hot water stops :)

Liked this place very much. Mind you we had fine weather too. Amenities were of a high standard and easy walking to the dock and shops. Nice ambience and some self reliance makes the stay very pleasant

One of the best Camp and Hostel I have visited. Very close to the Flam Train station. Courteous staff, Very well equipped kitchen and dining room. BTW has a self operated laundry, which is quite a book. The Linen and towels were crisp. Of course the room sizes could have been bigger and would have appreciated some supply of basics like a soap or shampoo and a Cafe / vending machine on the premises

I have stayed one night in the flam hostel, many things are great. Friendly staff, reasonable price, neat room and nice surroundings. Once you check in this hostel, you will receive one coin per person for hot water for a shower. In the bathroom, there is a small machine to put into the coins inside of shower booth like attached picture. One coin will give you 6mins, not very tight for men, but for women hard to judge.

Nice hostel with a great location! Do keep in mind that drying clothes and shoes can be a hassle as theirs nothing for it here.

I booked 1 single room in late August, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The hostel is located short walk(Less than 5 min) from Flam Station, Grocery Shops & Information Centre. The room was located newly constructed cottage, and have private toilet & hot shower. View from window is also great(actually amazing), and you can have uninterrupted sleep in comfortable bed without any noise. Common area such as kitchen & living area are well equipped and spacious, and it is more likely 5 star hotel class cleanness including linens. The staff was helpful and friendly, giving me lots of great advice about where to visits. Accommodation in Flam are very expensive, so this hostel is definitely best option if you want to stay in the area.

A great place to stay. You can have a camping experience (with your own equipment), a standard Youth Hostel experience, or something slightly better including a private bath. All the facilities were extraordinarily clean and well maintained. Sheets are included with the guest house room, and towels are available for a small fee. Every one was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. We will stay again.
