Awesome camping.
Beautiful place, but when we ask for some info at the reception they weren't really trying to help.
A gorgeous hotel/hostel with double and triple rooms and camp sites. Quaint and pictureque, it doubles as a fully functional orchard, making its own delicious fruit juices throughout the summer on the shores of the fjord. Large communal spaces, two kitchens, and the ever-present, ever-friendly sheep that roam the orchard make for a tranquil stay in Solvorn, with plenty of outdoor activities at your fingertips. Or, you can just stay in the hammocks.
Awesome hostel & campsite to stay in. It is a working Berry and apple farm. The owners are lovely and very organised. It is a very clean place. The music in the common areas was lovely. View from the campsite and the houses are great. We intended to stay for three nights and ended up staying for five nights. Highly recommended if you would like to have some quiet time in the fjords. There are a lot of hiking options in the area. The oldest stave church is across the fjord. Another must see. There is a very well equipped grocery store in town. The coffee shop/ Thai restaurant is a nice place to shop and eat. The beach nearby is a lovely one. Lovely place to spend a couple of days.
I loved my stay at Eplet - I played croquet, appreciated the orchard, made amazing friends and felt right at home in the space. Solvorn is gorgeous - the bike riding a wonderful way to spend a day. I loved also being so near to Jostedalsbreen for the glacier climbing, and glacier lake kayaking. Thank you for a wonderful stay and all your help.
One of the nicest quaint hotels that I have ever stayed. I would describe it as a hostel for grown-ups. Beautiful location, everything that you need to prepare food, lots of different accommodation options and helpful, friendly staff.
The best hostel I've been to. Lovely city, perfect place to stay. Living room for all guests is s cozy, exchange library, cerosine lamp, view from windows, hamacks, bikes. Hosts. Best ever. Highly recommend
Love it.
Probably the nicest (and smallest? :-) ) camping in Norway! The owners are extra-ordinary friendly and helpful. You have kitchen and living room at your disposal which makes it easy to have lots of interesting contacts with other campers.
Moreover Solvorn is a very nice and calm village.
Make sure to taste their superb homemade raspberry juice!
