Tradtional Norwegian restaurant with a well prepared seasonal menu. Serves both lunch and dinner. Their lunch smørbrød (open faced sandehiches) buffet is particularly popular. Always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Booking in advance is strongly recommended during the Christmas season as the restaurant is one of the absolute favorites when the crowds go out for Lutefisk.

Not bad if looking for a traditional restaurant in Norway. I would not go back as there are too many interesting new Nordic restaurants. More popular with a slightly older crowd.

Good service and good foods but not as exceptional as expected. Portions are huge so it's good to consider ordering only one or two courses. Quiet dining with elegant decor.

Perfect service, delicious food. The reindeer tenderloin was amazing! Beautiful place and historical as well. Very kind waiter. I'loved to come back.

We were pleasantly surprised with this place. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Best meal we have had in Oslo. Everything we had was a special and extremely well cooked. We had reindeer carpaccio, seared salmon, whale, and then the dessert special (Norwegian strawberries with vanilla bean ice cream). Highly recommend. It is well worth the price.

Great service really friendly staff, yes it is a bit pricey but the menu was delicious and had a range of typical dishes. It's worth going if you're in Oslo. It's the oldest restaurant here.
