Very lovely landlords, gave a bunch of hiking recommendations. Even prepared a campfire for a relaxed get-together in the evening. The hut was cosy and was equipped with everything necessary: cooking stove, coffee machine, shower. Definitely recommend.

The campsite itself is lovely, nice pitches, laid back management, and an abundance of facilities, such as a kitchen, bbq and campfire area, outdoor picnic benches and right next to a river that has the occasional trout swimming by (although not by where I was fishing!). The showers you have to pay for though (coin in the machine type- 5 kroner for 3 minutes), and it is a little noisy next to the busy road and passing trains (although that didn't bother me too much). My only real gripe with this place was the location, which is nowhere near any restaurants, shops, supermarkets, or anything else useful, meaning a 25km drive to get food.

Nice, beautiful place. A bit noisy tough since the E6 goes through the valley close by.
