  Det Lille Hotel is a lovely collection of perfect and cozy apartments. Well appointed, fabulous management, a very nice breakfast - they are perfect for a stay in Risor.

  Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed staying in the appartments that blended in seamlessly with the rest of Risør.

  GJESTFRIHET, PERSONLIG SERVICE OG NYDELIGE SENGER
  Vi har hatt gleden av å gjeste «Det lille hotel» i Risør flere ganger. Her finner du et spennende konsept, som ikke bare er et hotell, men nydelig dekorerte leiligheter i maritim stil, i den «hvite seilskutebyen Risør». De fleste leilighetene er konsentrert så midt i byen som det går an å komme. Er du heldig å få plass i «S/Y Ceres- suiten» rett over resepsjonen, har du utsikt ned til pollen i Risør. Og for en suite: Stort, flott bad – et kjøkken med alle hjelpemidler, og grundig planlagt skapplass. Plass til 8 personer til bords og en koselig salong foran en stor flatskjerm. Sengene er en «drøm for seg selv». Deilig balkong mot vest slik at du kan nyte solen til langt på kvelden. Her mangler ingen ting.

  This is an exceptional hotel, in a beautiful town. We visited for three nights in springtime and stayed in Styrmann Suite in Buvika - we were going to stay in the suites in the centre but opted for Buvika because it had a sea view. It was a very special experience, so peaceful and a wonderful view.
  
  The suite was tastefully furnished with some fascinating maritime antiques - in fact our suite looked across the water to one of the last surviving wooden boat builders in Risør, so we had a wonderful feeling of being part of the history of this town. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a simple breakfast in the refrigerator and tea/coffee. On the second and third days we ordered the "Captain's Breakfast" delivered to the suite which included bacon, fruits and freshly baked bread and cinnamon rolls. We also had the most magnificent seafood platter delivered one evening.
  
  Our suite was 10 minutes walk from the centre, but we used the bikes provided and it just took a couple of minutes to whizz around to the harbour. I also suggest taking a walk up the hill behind the suite for lovely views over the town and out to sea.
  
  I really cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the service was excellent, the location beautiful and the suite completely charming.
