The food here was actually a lot better than we were expecting, however, the service wasn't great. We noticed a lot of places here don't offer ask if you need more beverages, any condiments, the check, etc., so it could have been partially our fault for not knowing how things work. Either way, once we did ask for the check it still took them like 15 minutes to bring it.

Great service, lovely menu and the smoked salmon salad was very generous with the salmon. The moose snack tasted just like a standard spices sausage. 1 glass of wine, salad and moose snacks were 338,00 not including gratuity

Grilled reindeer was very good. Recommend medium rare. Vegan burger also very nice. Good location sitting on terrace enjoying dinner & watching world go by.

Looks good from the outside but the staff is completely worthless. Waited for 25 minutes to get drinks. When we finally spoke to a waitress she didnt believe one of our groups persons age. While she is 35. After showing id she still wasnt willing to believe. I would encourage everybody not to go to this restaurant.

Even though it's name claims it's a café, the server was visibly upset when I just asked for a few coffees. They then placed me and my gf at a horrible table in the corner and made us pay right away, signaling clearly how unwelcome we were.
This is a tourist trap. As Norwegians, we recommend that you try Bacchus around the corner instead. About the same price range, truly Norwegian spirited and much, much more welcoming.response / report this review -

Wonderful lunch place located just east of Oslo Cathedral in a half-circular old building. My wife had pizza with reindeer and I had reindeer capacio. Service is nice and quick - they speak English. Located on the central walking street of Oslo
