This is only my opinion, but it is the correct one!
VERY high quality on the food, we went for a tasting menu and every dish was worth waiting for. Not the cheapest place BUT if you have the money, please give a go. I was not so much into seafodbut after this visit, I am transformed

All of us ordered "Grilled Catch of The Catfish/Steinbit Nok 295" We wished to take advantage of a rare opportunity to enjoy an authentic Norwegian fish dinner of the highest standard. Unfortunately our dining experience fell extremely short of our expectations. This was due to an utterly failed attempt by "Geir Skeie" to be creative, avant garde, or whatever? The "meny" simply stated;

"DAGENS FANGST GRILLET STEINBIT / CATCH OF THE DAY GRILLED CAT FISH"

The dish was unfortunately served with an overpowering sauce of unknown ingredients and origin, my best guess would be from somewhere in the East?. The main ingredient (Steinbit) could actually have been anything whatsoever fish or fowl, it would not have made much difference, if any.

My best advise to Geir Skeie is to keep it authentic and simple don't be too creative especially when the starting point is such a great ingredient which can stand on its own with only a few condoments. Next time we are Sandefjord and we want Asian food I will go to KISMAT it's much better than Brygga 11. We give it 2 stars solely because of the very good and friendly service we were provided with by the Staff.
