I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the rooms. Newly renovated and looking good. The reseption and dining area is a bit worn down. Gets five stars because of the service of the staff, very hospitable.
I cannot compare with other hotels in Lofoten, but I was satisfied with the accomodation, the hotel is nice and breakfast is really good. Some things can be better, like bags with textile should be kept out of sight of guests, cleaning of rooms is not at adequate time of day (around five PM?) and also the restaurant should work at all presented hours.
Decent hotel with plenty of parking, the shower however lacked warm water both in the evening and the morning, with little sympathy from the staff.. The restaurant on the other hand is excellent, great food.
Went there for dinner. Fresh salmon, spinach, and apple pie for dessert. Can't complain.
Clean rooms and nice service
Food was good but not great, and they were out of quite a few items on the menu
Really nice breakfast area, and good free breakfast. Standard rooms are two single beds pushed together. Updated bathrooms.
They only gave us one towel. They also asked for payment during checkout even though we paid when we booked online.
There are more charming places to stay in Lofoten than this hotel!
The main advantage of this hotel is its location in town, close to eateries, shopping mall, gas stations, and proximity to the Leknes airport and the E10 road through Leknes. Scenery-wise there is nothing exciting… If you are looking for the most spectacular nature in Lofoten I will recommend the area around Reine (Moskenes)!
Rooms did not seem to have been upgraded for a long time (see attached photos). The breakfast and dinner vas OK.
The service from the staff at check-in/out could have been much better!
The best of all with this hotel is the price level – Hotels in Lofoten is really expensive even for Norwegians!
