Charged us extra $$ two weeks after the fact. We filled the tank at the nearest station, no clue why the added surcharge and no explanation. Communication is needed if a company is going to have hidden charges

This was the worst experience with a car rental I have ever had! Do not rent with AVIS! I was late 30 min for delivering the car and for that they took my deposit and charged me an extra day! Without the possibility to use it than for that extra day I was charged. They are over priced for their services.

bad experience with this Avis car rental, if you want to extend one or more day during your renting time, be careful!! $230.00/per day, ask the rate before you renting, they won't remind you, be careful!!! Bloody!!! Felt to be cheated!! It wont be happened in US.

My experience with Avis at Evenes airport was very bad. I was made responsible for a damage I didn't cause. The car was of course not properly inspected by Avis and me at handover. They simply charged the repair to my credit card without notice. They are so bad in communicating and being costumer oriented. Very audacious!! Car was also not fully fueled.

This is probably the best I can do to tell people to stay away from AVIS. This location is a scam. They will "super charge" you with additional services. If you said you do not need the services, they will tell you to sign first and leave. They will fix it afterwards. The truth is they will never fix it. You will receive your super charged bill afterwards!!!
