Great selectiion. About the only place you can get a brisket in the Stavanger area. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. (Unless you buy the boney , meatless, frozen spareribs)

I can't walk by this place without being inspired. And picking up a snack or dinner. Also, my grandfather worked here 100 years ago. My favorite place in Stavanger.

There are not that many butchers left in the area and I think this is the only one left in the city center. Idsøe is the oldest shop in Stavanger and they have a great selection of meat and related products including stock, pasta, cheese etc.
